MarfisaThis catamaran was designed by Lock Crowther, Australia and built in fiberglass/foam-sandwich to very high standards by Alwoplast in Valdivia, Chile. "Marfisa" is 45 ft. long with 24 ft. beam. She has two staterooms with queen size berths, and one double berth in the saloon, plus two single berths aft, two heads with showers, galley with oven, double sink and fridge. Dining in the saloon you can enjoy an allround view. Outside in the pilothouse area is the nav station with GPS, Chartplotter, VHF-Radio, Autopilot, Speed an Depth instruments, Twinscope sonar and a Raytheon radar. She has watermaker, heating system and a 5KW 220V generator. In the saloon there is TV, CD and radio, fax, computer, printer, second VHF, SSB, weatherfax, and a remote autopilotcontrol. "Marfisa" is fitted with twin Yanmar turbo intercooler engines (100 hp each). She has a range of 300 nm, which is excellent for the area. Outside is the very protected cockpit with seats and a table, partly covered with a rigid roof. The deck is clear of gear so that the space is usable to relax. She has a rigid inflatable dinghy for 6 persons with outboard and complete fishing gear. Electricity on board is 220V 50Hz. and 12 V DC. |
