RATAPLAN

This catamaran was designed by Lock Crowther, Australia and built in fiberglass/foam-sandwich to very high standards in '97 by Alwoplast in Valdivia, Chile. "Rataplan" is 42 ft. in length and has a beam of 21 ft. She has four staterooms with queen size berths, two heads with showers, galley with oven, double sink and fridge. In the salon you can enjoy an all around view and your meals. The nav-station is situated next to the sitting area. It has GPS, VHF-Radio, Autopilot, Speed an Depth instruments with entertainment by CD and Cassette Player, Radio and SSB receiver.

Two Yanmar engines with saildrives (18 hp each) give her a nice cruising speed. Outside is the well protected cockpit with seats and small table, partly covered with a rigid roof. The spacious deck is clear of gear to allow total utilisation. A dinghy with outboard engine and fishing gear is at your disposal.
